Blocksi Inc,. a leading company dedicated to creating secure and productive learning environments is looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our innovative team.
As a Backend Developer at Blocksi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of educational technology. You will work with a dynamic tech stack including Node.js, TypeScript or Express, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Python, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Docker, Agile methodology, Jira, Git, and Google API.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side logic and integrate with front-end components.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval and security.
- Create and maintain APIs to facilitate communication between different services and front-end applications.
- Monitor and optimize server performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement security measures, including encryption, authentication, and authorization, to protect data integrity.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to extend application functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable code and document the development process, code structure, and API endpoints.
- Diagnose and fix bugs, performance issues, and other problems in the application.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing protocols to ensure application robustness and reliability.
- Utilize version control systems like Git to manage and track changes in the codebase.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve skills and the application.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, Python, etc.
- Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices and development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
