Our client, international UK company, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer to join their Operations team in Slovenia. The person joining them will be working on maintaining stability and efficiency in a rapidly evolving tech environment while constantly seeking to optimize system performance.

What you will be responsible for?
- Develop, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
- Use Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Monitor system performance using Datadog, and proactively address system issues.
- Maintain and improve our database systems, primarily MongoDB.
- Work with data engineering tools such as Databricks for ETL processes, optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams.
- Ensure security best practices throughout our infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotations once per month, providing high-quality support with a focus on reliability and uptime.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

Key qualifications:
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (ideally AWS).
- Experience in using IaC for automation and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.

Advantages are:
- Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform.
- Familiarity with CDN technologies, preferably Fastly.
- Familiarity with MongoDB administration and optimization.
- Understanding of security protocols and best practices in infrastructure.
- Previous experiences with software, system, or data engineering.
- Knowledgeable in data engineering and ETL processes, experience with Databricks is a plus.

- Full-time employment, with three months’ probation period.
- A competitive base salary between 43.120–63.000 EUR gross per year (depending on experience and seniority).
