We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join us on the journey of building a scalable and intuitive product.

1. Your responsibilities:
- Define clear goals, objectives, and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
- Regularly assess team performance, provide constructive feedback, and establish a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify, recruit, and retain top talent while fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment that promotes growth and development.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to develop the vision and OKRs for our products and services.
- Prioritize and manage resources effectively to maximize the team's productivity and shipping velocity while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and support, filling critical gaps when necessary (e.g., tech specs, coding, etc.).
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with cross-functional teams through collaboration and cooperation.
- Ensure the team stays up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of transparency, integrity, and open communication, modeling these values through personal behavior and decision-making.

2. Preferred skill set:
- Strong engineering background and familiarity with the modern software engineering practices.
- 2+ years of leadership experience or active mentoring and coaching.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a team, set objectives, and make sure all team members are empowered, motivated and engaged.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical people.
- Strong written and spoken English.

3. What kind of tech stack do we use?
We use various tools to craft our products. On the backend, you can find Scala, NodeJS, PHP, MySQL, Spark, Snowflake, Go, MongoDB, Kinesis and quite a bit more. On the frontend, we use Vue.js with Vuex and Vue Router and vanilla JS. Everything runs on the AWS cloud, orchestrated by ECS. We also love CI/CD, IaC and do daily deployments to ensure all contributions see the light of day as soon as the QA team is happy.
