As a small shop, we are looking for mid-to-senior level candidates that we can trust to work autonomously - people who are already self-sufficient or have the drive and curiosity to become so. We believe in rewarding excellence, which is why we offer equity ownership to our top performers.

What your day to day looks like
- Client collaboration - Daily/weekly coordination calls and sprint planning with client teams
- Infrastructure implementation - Designing and deploying infrastructure, dockerizing applications, building deployment pipelines, setting up CI/CD workflows
- Monitoring & observability - Implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions and maintaining system visibility
- Alerting & incident response - Creating alerting systems for clients (on-call responsibilities are client-specific and compensated separately)
- Documentation - Writing clear technical documentation and runbooks for clients and internal teams
- Knowledge sharing - Mentoring team members and transferring expertise to client teams
- Problem solving - Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and optimizing system performance
- Project ownership - Taking full responsibility for deliverables from planning through implementation

Ideal Candidate Profile

Nobody's perfect (not even us!), so don't worry if you don't tick every box below. We're more interested in your problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to keep our coffee machine running than a perfect resume match. If you've got solid experience with most of these and the curiosity to master the rest, we'll teach you everything else you need to know. Below is a list of competencies we use everyday:

Core Infrastructure
- Production experience with AWS or GCP
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm or other container orchestrators
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Ansible for automation
- Experience with Proxmox virtualization (or other hypervisors)

Databases & Systems
- MySQL, PostgreSQL (performance tuning, HA setups)
- Redis, RabbitMQ
- Expert Linux administration
- Bash and Python scripting

Security & Network
- Server hardening and lockdown procedures
- CDNs, WAFs implementations
- Strong networking fundamentals
- Security best practices

Blockchain/Web3 (Major bonus)
- Blockchain node infrastructure
- dApp hosting requirements
- Web3 security considerations

Experience Requirements
- 3+ years DevOps engineering in production environments
- Proven track record of implementing infrastructure projects
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline architecture
- Strong communication and mentorship skills

Bonus Qualifications
- AWS/GCP/Kubernetes certifications
- Blockchain infrastructure experience
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Fintech or high-security environment background
