We are Flint SI, part of Flint International, a young and enthusiastic team striving for innovative and high-quality IT solutions. Based in Slovenia, we primarily focus on technical training, creating text- and video-based learning content, and providing technological solutions for our customers. This includes the design and implementation of networking, security, data center, cloud, and automation solutions.

Due to the nature of our business, the role of an engineer at Flint SI requires above-average communication skills compared to more standard engineering roles. A major part of the work involves communication with customers and partners, as well as writing technical learning content.

The role is not only about teaching but also includes working with data center and networking systems, designing data center solutions, and implementing those solutions for our customers. Having a grasp of technical matters is therefore vital. At Flint SI, we believe that to teach technical matters effectively, a teacher must also work with the systems they are teaching about.

- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on new technologies
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Intermediate proficiency in Slovene
- Strong communication skills
- Genuine interest in technology and IT
- Effective self-organization and time management skills
- Willingness to travel internationally (primarily by plane)
- Confidence in presenting to audiences
- Presentation skills in front of audiences

Beneficial Qualifications and Experience
- A younger candidate with limited work experience
- Completed university or other high/higher education program
- Prior experience in IT or a technical field (both work-based or volunteer-based)
- High proficiency in additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian)
- Self-taught knowledge of programming, automation, or IT administration
- Knowledge of any part of the Cisco portfolio
- Knowledge of VMware, Pure, NetApp, Hitachi, Nutanix, Red Hat, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure
