ABOUT US
Managed Sportsbook Services provides end-to-end sportsbook operations, covering risk management and odds provisioning across supported sports and markets. The service ensures continuous operational support for sportsbook activities, enabling stable and consistent delivery of betting services.

THE CHALLENGE
As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will play a hands-on role in supporting MSS customer databases across development, test, and production environments. You will be responsible for database administration, performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and technical implementations, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available database systems in a 24/7 environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own database operations, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, migrations, and architecture improvements.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases on Linux and Windows.
- Ensure database performance, availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Analyse and optimise SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database resources.
- Support cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, OCI) and cloud migration initiatives.
- Implement and maintain database security, patching, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor database health and resolve complex production incidents.
- Contribute to automation, operational excellence, and documentation standards.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation supporting critical production systems.

ABOUT YOU
- You’re a senior-level Oracle DBA with strong hands-on experience in Oracle 12c/18c/19c, container/pluggable and autonomous databases, and a track record of delivering in high-availability environments.
- You have experience working collaboratively within DBA or infrastructure teams and supporting less experienced colleagues when needed.
- You thrive in deeply technical roles where you’re actively solving problems and delivering solutions.
- You’re comfortable working across on-prem and cloud platforms, including AWS and Oracle Cloud.
- You have deep knowledge of backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning best practices.
- You're calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and focused on continuous technical improvement.
