Dev-Ops Engineer - AI/BI -- brisan oglas

We are looking for an experienced dev-ops engineer to join Sportradar's Business Intelligence and AI team in the development of Sportradar's data analytics platform and data integration pipelines used to collect, transform, warehouse and analyse large volumes of sports data and data related to the use of Sportradar's products. You will also support the further development of our batch and streaming analytics and computer vision inference infrastructure.

Our cloud-native platform uses a combination of managed cloud services and cloud-hosted open source frameworks to manage and analyse 100s of billions of rows of data and run analytics workloads such as machine learning and computer vision training and inference, interactive analytics applications and dashboards.

Sportradar is a global leader in understanding and leveraging the power of sports data for hundreds of business customers around the world, in turn entertaining millions of sports enthusiasts.

THE CHALLENGE:
- Dev-ops activities supporting systems for real-time, low latency streaming analytics and computer vision processing hosted in AWS.
- Dev-ops activities supporting scalable, reliable and secure data warehousing architectures and data integration/processing pipelines.
- Development of continuous integration / continuous deployment pipelines for data integration, analytics and machine learning projects.
- AWS cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code.
- Setup and management of Kubernetes infrastructure for hosting of containerized analytics and computer vision workloads.
- Ensuring infrastructure and application observability with monitoring, alerting and dashboarding solutions.
- Support Sportradar’s future analytics, computer vision and machine learning initiatives working with a growing team of talented data scientists and data engineers already dedicated to this mission.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

- DevOps experience (hands-on experience with the design, set-up and administration of infrastructure and automated build and deployment pipelines).
- Experience with cloud services like AWS/Azure.
- Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Must be comfortable with modern software development methodologies such as agile development, git, CI/CD, code review, etc...
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS/Azure.
- Bonus: Demonstrated experience with productization of machine learning solutions.
- Bonus: Experience with Apache Flink, NiFi and/or Kafka.
- Bonus: Experience with big data technologies such as data lakes, MPP data warehousing solutions, query engines.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Engineering or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
