The Company
Databox, a fast-growing SaaS company that helps other companies monitor and improve their business performance, is looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer (React).

The Team
Our Product and Engineering team has over 35 members with extensive experience in UI/UX design, frontend/mobile/backend development, product growth, and analytics. We build our product and features from scratch using the latest technologies. The role of a Senior Frontend Engineer is perfect for you if you are ready to take on the challenge of building and improving a product that is loved by thousands of customers worldwide.

The Role
The ideal candidate is someone who is ready to take on the challenge of building and improving a product that is used and loved by thousands of customers worldwide. You are a perfect match if you keep up to date with the latest web technologies, especially Javascript frameworks.

The Work
- Translate designs/mockups into fully responsive prototypes and user interfaces
- Write, review and maintain code primarily in React/Javascript/Node.js, as well as HTML/CSS
- Understand the basics of backend systems and communication via Rest APIs
- Work closely with our product managers and other engineers on the best user experience possible
- Cooperate with other teams to come up with the best technical solutions
- Be responsible for helping triage issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities
- Grow as an individual and directly contribute to a growing team

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

The Skills
- 5+ years of experience with single-page web apps and Javascript frameworks (React or Ember are preferred)
- Getting-things-done attitude
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, work independently and handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
- Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with excellent communication skills
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills

Databox is a remote-friendly company with over 100 team members working across the globe. This position, however, is best suitable for a candidate located near Ptuj, Slovenia, with the possibility of working from home a few times per week.
