We are looking for a NodeJS Backend Engineer to expand our team. You will work with our team of talented engineers and business team to design and build the next generation of learning technology.

We are looking for a NodeJS Developer who can design, implement and maintain services that will be part of our system.

Fullstack experience (React) is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Build and expand our RESTful and GraphQL Node.js APIs
- Monitor and improve server-side performance
- Write unit, integration, and load tests as necessary
- Write and review technical proposals
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes\

Desirable Skills And Qualifications
- TypeScript and Node.js
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Good knowledge of modern backend development, databases, basic data structures and most common design patterns
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable applications

Bonus Points
- Experience with real-time systems
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis)
- Good SQL knowledge
- Full-stack development (React)
