Do you want to leave your mark on the future of a more humane industry where people are not burdened with monotonous, boring tasks? Are you interested in developing solutions for smart factories and challenges that the human eye cannot handle? In the Laboratory for Intelligent Visual Systems (LIVS) at Kolektor Digital we are looking for motivated Data Scientist (mid-level), who shares our enthusiasm for developing systems beyond human vision and is passionate about the latest technologies in machine vision, artificial intelligence, robotics and simulation technologies.

Our world-leading solutions are changing the fundamental paradigms of problem solving through machine vision. For example, we are developing eyes for advanced robotic workers so they can efficiently handle products, orient themselves in space, and identify their assigned workstations. In product quality control, used to implement the principles of zero-defect production, we effectively replace human vision and use visual sensors to capture Big Data, giving users real insight into production and enabling them to make the best decisions in real time.

Projects and assignments where you will play the main role:
- Actively participate in the design, development and support of solutions based on Data Science and Computer Vision.
- Designing modular and extensible building blocks for various applications.
- Documenting program code, testing and integrating the code in a CI/CD process.
- Data management (acquisition, pre-processing, storage, analysis).

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

You will enjoy the work if you have the following experience, knowledge and skills:
- Experience in developing Data Science program solutions.
- Knowledge of modern models and approaches from computer vision (Image Classification, Object Detection, Semantic Segmentation, Anomaly Detection) and software packages (TensorFlow, Keras, pandas, scikit-learn).
- Knowledge of modern software engineering techniques, e.g. object-oriented programming, development driven by module testing, CI/CD use for code analysis.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies (Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, MongoDB, Postgres).
- Willingness to follow technology trends in computer vision and machine learning and the ability to present this information to colleagues and apply it in practice.

Not a requirement, but certainly a plus:
- Programming in a Linux environment.
- Experience developing solutions based on computer vision technologies.
- Experience in integrating open source solutions into applications.
