The getjoan.com/Visionect team is expanding! Apply and join our team of experienced backend engineers, where you will be challenged to create and maintain backend software for our products using modern technologies. You will be working with Python and the Django framework, alongside with technologies, such as Docker and Google Cloud Platform, celery and mypy.

You should have at least 3 years of work experience with development and you should aspire to work with us long term – we’re proud of our team and the fact that they are here for the long haul.

Responsibilities

- The development of backend software in Python.
- Designing new backend software solutions.
- Makes sure that produced software follows good coding practices.
- Builds reusable code for future use.
- Attends training and education.

Requirements:

- Experience with backend development.
- Understanding of services architecture.
- In-depth experience with Python and Django.

Big plus:

- Experience with cloud-scale databases.
- Experience with modern IaaS and PaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of good security practices.
