Sentinel Hub VAS GmbH, a subsidiary of Sinergise, is opening a permanent office in Graz / ESA BIC Austria, close to several other space start-ups. Sinergise established a subsidiary in Graz focused on the creation of Value Added Services (VAS) based on Sentinel Hub, starting with the familiar fields of agriculture and land administration but being not limited to these. Sentinel Hub VAS GmbH successfully completed its first project and ''graduated'' in August 2019. The experiences gained confirmed, that this could be a good way to widen the reach of Sentinel Hub and the growth process started.

We're using React for web applications built on top of Sentinel Hub services and we need help expanding their features.

Responsibilities:
- design, develop and test reusable UI components for Sentinel Hub use cases,
- maintain and extend existing Sentinel Hub applications and create new ones,
- consume RESTful APIs from the UI.

Tech stack:
- React for view rendering,
- Leaflet for interactive maps,
- Redux for state management,
- Sass / CSS modules for styling,
- Jest for unit tests,
- Python + Flask for occasional backend service,
- Docker for containerization,
- Git for version control,
- GitLab CI for one-click deployments.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

What we look for:
- vanilla JavaScript,
- HTTP, REST, JSON, and modern HTML5/CSS3 web technologies,
- practical experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Ember, Backbone, D3,
- experience with scripting, shell environments, and version control systems,
- experience with any part of the tech stack is a plus, but not mandatory,
- ideal qualifications: ES6, React,
- passion for quality and an optimal user experience,
- strong English communication skills,
- availability to travel for training and coaching in Slovenia,
- start: Mar/Apr 2020.
