The System Administration team in Ljlubljana is part of Sportradar's global System Administration unit. The team work closely with the local developers and system administrators in other locations. Sportradar is investing heavily in automation and high availability services. Therefore to strengthen our service implementations and maintenance we are searching for a candidate to lead our System Administration team in Ljubljana. Our server infrastructure consists of thousands of virtual machines and spans several physical data centers as well as Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Tha challenge:
-Lead the local System Administration team in Ljubljana
-Collaborate with developers, architects and DevOps on technical architecture and implementation of new products and services
-Search, select and implement new tools and technologies that make life easier for developers and system administrators
-Server and network maintenance
-Ensure that our services are available and functional 24/7 by being part of an on-duty team

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

Your profile:
-Master or Bachelor Degree in computer science
-IT leadership experience
-Experience with Linux servers and and databases such as MySQL, Cassandra and MongoDB
-Familiar with AWS
-Experience with one or more of the following:
-Virtualization and container technologies such as KVM, Docker and Kubernetes
-Infrastructure systems such as CoreOS, Ganeti and OpenStack
-Configuration management frameworks such as Chef, Ansible and Puppet
-Monitoring tools such as Zabbix, StatsD and Nagios
-Web technologies such as Nginx, Varnish, PHP and NodeJS
-Message broker technologies, RabbitMQ in particular
-Good communication skills
-Good communication skills (English)
-Willingness to learn new technologies and share technical knowledge -
-Positive, team player with a can-do attitude
