We are looking for a Front-end Web Developer who would be working with our team to develop and manage a web-based video editor. The editor is a key part of REWO. Good knowledge of JavaScript is a must. You would also help with other parts of our product. Other responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

LOCATION: Ljubljana or Celje + Remote

Responsibilities
- Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting of our web-based video editor
- Use markup languages like HTML to create a user-friendly web app
- Optimize applications for maximum speed
- Design mobile-based features
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Skills
- Great understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
- Great understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum two years of proven experience
- Track record of development

Skills and Attributes
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of standard development tools (Jira, Git,…)
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, great energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proactive, confident and have a can-do attitude

Nice to Have
- Experience working with start-ups
- Experience developing products for the manufacturing environment
- Experience in Lean/Agile methodology
