Your work matters. We’re looking for a DevOps engineer to:

Develop, optimize and manage tools and processes to support the infrastructure.
Find or develop simple ways and procedures that will make other teams more productive and will support our internal processes.
Be on a constant hunt for new technologies to further improve us and yourself.
Be a part of the team which strives for 0% downtime while encouraging continuous deployment methodologies.
Participate in on-call rotation. Carrying your laptop and your phone around when you are on-call doesn’t bother you.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

You will be joining a diverse, highly innovative and creative team of developers, designers and managers from all over the globe. In exchange, we expect:

Strong experience with scripting languages and using them in automation (primarily Bash and Python, others are a big plus)
Firm experience with Linux and cloud infrastructure
Experience or solid interest in maintaining a highly available service on production scale
Experience with running Apache, JVM, PHP, NodeJS and similar technologies in production environment
Experience with databases (MySQL, Snowflake, Mongo, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge about networking and security (TCP/IP, IPSec, VPC)
Fluent written and spoken English - you will be using it every day
Interest and awareness of current and future infrastructure trends
A continuous learner and a critical thinker
A responsible individual capable of teamwork and communication
A fun, open-minded person. Extensive reddit/gif experience is a great feature!

Nice-to-haves:

Experience building and maintaining production systems on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, VPC etc. and familiarity interacting with the AWS APIs
Experience with Docker
Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet or other deployment/provisioning tools
Experience with monitoring tools like NewRelic, Graphite, Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
Experience in managing high throughput services (1000 requests per second does not scare you)
Experience with centralized logging services (ELK, SumoLogic, Loggly, Splunk…)
B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or a related field
